Fire Department
Sound the Alarm Program - Sign up to have a volunteer from the Red Cross come to your home to install smoke alarms, create escape plans, and share fire safety information.
Knox Box Program
Knox Boxes allow for the Scarsdale Fire Department to easily access your home in case of emergency.
For those interested, in addition to ordering by phone or email, residents may simply visit https://www.knoxbox.com/, select Choose your local fire department agency at the top of the homepage or through the menu tab, and follow the prompts.

Everbridge is our emergency (and important) information management tool. It allows the town to reach out for true emergencies as well as important time sensitive matters such as sudden road closures, tree and water issues during storms, and even before water flushing when residents may notice their water changing color. This tool can be geofenced meaning that we can send to specific parts of the map when an issue may only affect a subset of residents.
Notify Me shares local government information such as the Scarsdale Official, alerts (and agendas) for the Board of Trustees and land use board meetings. When you register for "Notify Me", you can customize how much or how little information you receive.
Tax reminder system - We also encourage you to put the tax dates in your calendars! They can be found here.
